first issue

impressions from the first issue — “print culture dead or alive?” self-publishing bookfair in frankfurt this october. a paradise for design & art books/zine fans and makers. some kind of printed collective documentation will follow.

publishers shown include rollo-press, random press, manystuff, kritika, monokultur, nieves, hands on papers, shake your tree, grilli type.

soo much books! Didn't think at one point that maybe it's almost too much awesomeness? Because I feel it now almost and I'm just looking at pictures.
I'm sorry I'm tired and it's late and I just get quite excited about pretty books.

Holy shit, this makes me salivate so much! It would probably be tragedy for me to have been there though, I would've wanted everything and ended up crying in a corner - at least I need to tell myself that to stifle my jealousy!

PS. I have this book called "Behind the zines - self-publishing culture" and I think you'd love it, it's very amazing.
